The report provides diagrams and definitions of terms of the various areas inspected eliminating confusion caused by some of the technical terminology. Armed with the information in the report provided, you will be able to make your decision with confidence.

Choosing the right home inspector can be a difficult decision. In all likelihood, we will not have met prior to the inspection. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying degrees of qualifications, backgrounds, equipment, reporting methods and pricing. New York State requires all home inspectors to be licensed and insured but I believe it is also important that the person inspecting the home be safe, courteous to all parties involved, and respectful of the property inspected. A home inspection requires a lot of work. The average inspection can take in excess of 3 hours. You need to choose an inspector who will take the time required to provide a complete and accurate assessment of your potential purchase.
